Microsoft 365 Password Resets

Forgot your Microsoft 365 password or need to reset it? Whether you’re proactively updating your password or locked out of your account, follow the steps below to regain access.


If You Know Your Current Password (and Just Want to Change It)

  1. Go to: https://portal.office.com

  2. Sign in with your current Microsoft 365 email and password.

  3. Click your initials or profile photo in the top-right corner and select My Account.

  4. Navigate to Security & Privacy > Password.

  5. Enter your current password, then set a new one.

  6. Click Submit to confirm.


If You’ve Forgotten Your Password

If your admin has enabled self-service password reset:

  1. Visit: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com

  2. Enter your Microsoft 365 email address.

  3. Complete the CAPTCHA and click Next.

  4. Follow the on-screen steps to verify your identity via mobile, email, or Authenticator app.

  5. Create a new password and confirm.


If Self-Service Password Reset Isn’t Enabled

If you can’t reset your password using the above method, please contact us and we’ll reset it for you.
