If a document won’t print from Outlook, Word, Adobe, or any other software, try the steps below before calling support.
1. Check Printer Selection
Make sure the correct printer is selected in the print dialogue
If printing to PDF by accident, choose your physical printer instead
2. Restart Printer and PC
Turn off the printer and wait 10 seconds
Restart your computer
Turn the printer back on and try again
3. Clear Stuck Print Jobs
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners
Select your printer > Open Queue
Cancel any documents stuck in the list
Try printing a test page
4. Save and Print From Another App
Save the file as a PDF and open it in another app (e.g. Adobe Reader)
Try printing from there — this rules out an app-specific issue
5. Try Printing From Another Device
If a colleague can print the same document without issue, the problem may be specific to your PC. Let us know so we can investigate further.
